Set in a convivial and energetic atmosphere, Maven’s is the restaurant that moves forward the Jewish cuisine while incorporating some new items that they hope will be a part of the culture and tradition of the future.
In 2007, he opened Cranston's Johnny Rockets, his first partnership, refining layout and design.
From 2010, as Area Manager, he handled RI's operations and union construction. In 2015, he became Regional Manager for RI/MA. In 2020, he became COO, navigating COVID challenges.
Besides Johnny Rockets, Jason owns The Original Soupman since 2011 and Pokeworks since 2018, opening successful locations even during the pandemic.
He's on Johnny Rockets' Marketing Leadership Council and Pokeworks' Franchise Advisory Board. His innovations earned TV exposure.
A Bryant University graduate, Jason boasts over 20 years in the industry.
He expanded his impact with Rare Hospitality, overseeing Capital Grille Steakhouse openings and excelling as Corporate Executive Chef. 2004 he founded Providence Hospitality Group, earning acclaim for The Mills Tavern and Red Stripe Brassieres. Jaime's dynamic career, marked by accolades and a passion for healthy, creative food, now drives his pursuit of new opportunities in the hospitality industry.
After leaving Memphis and returning back to Providence, Chef Robert has been the executive chef at Parkside, Siena and now Maven’s Delicatessen.
From the moment you sit your tuchus in Maven’s, it is the mission of Jason Sugarman, the founder, to have his customers surrounded by the nostalgic smells and tastes that connect memories of the past while creating new ones. Now that’s something special!
